Cole's Aircraft Collaboration with the
Wings Museum, Surrey, England

February, 2010

I'm very pleased to be working with Daniel Hunt of the
Wings Museum in England.  Dan has commissioned me to
create five unique aviation art pieces to accompany their
displays of some very historical aircraft.  These include the
world's only preserved WW2 Japanese Navy B5N2 "Kate"
torpedo bomber.

B5N2 "Kate" on display in "unrestored" condition at the Wings Museum, Surrey, England.

This one-of-a-kind aircraft has yet to be thoroughly
researched, but it's very possible that this airplane was part
of the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor - as this
late model variant was in short supply at that time, with
most all of those available assigned to Admiral Nagumo's
Pearl Harbor strike force.

Other aircraft on display or in storage include several Soviet
ex-Lend Lease P-63 Kingcobras, Japanese Ki-43 "Oscars,"
an A6M2 Zero, a former Soviet Eastern Front Hurricane
fighter, a B-25 and A-20.

Expansion of 'Piece and Print' Display Packages
Pairing of Authentic WW2 Aircraft Fragments with Original Artwork

July, 2010

My long-standing cooperative relationship with the Wings Museum in England has provided their new
display facility and gift shop with specially commissioned examples of my artwork in exchange for
authentic pieces of some extremely rare WW2 warbirds - including their Japanese B5N2 "Kate" torpedo
bomber (see at left).

Since last month I've offered a few of those pieces in special one-of-a-kind displays with examples of my
artwork, and interest among collectors of both aircraft relics and aviation art has been better than
expected.

Now, in late July, I'm overjoyed to announce yet another partnership that promises to vastly increase my
ability to create these combination displays and cover even more rare WW2 aircraft examples.

Cole's Aircraft will be making these displays a centerpiece of its offerings to collectors.

A new, better, and standardized display size and style has been created (see the "Oscar" sample
above/left) that is 24 x 20 inches and
without glass.  In lieu of glass, which has proven to be a hazard
during shipping, each large-sized print of my original artwork is over-coated with UV protective lacquer.
This style display is thus rendered practical for drop shipping, and offers the positive side effect of an
aircraft fragment that can thus be physically touched.

New aircraft types that are currently now in the pipeline are too numerous to mention, but include many
rare Luftwaffe aircraft, including the super-rare Me 109K-4.
